September 15, 2026
The Enid Public Library, in partnership with the City of Enid and the Daughters of the American Revolution, will participate in Bells Across America at 2:45 p.m. Thursday, September 17.
The public is invited to join the observance, which commemorates the signing of the U.S. Constitution. Attendees will meet in the parking lot west of First United Methodist Church at 509 W. Randolph Ave.
The event will include a short presentation by the DAR. At 3 p.m., First United Methodist Church will ring its church bell for one minute, corresponding with 4 p.m. in Philadelphia, the historical time the Constitution was signed.
Bells Across America is observed by communities across the country as a way to honor the U.S. Constitution and reflect on the history and principles that have shaped the nation.
