Library Kicks Off 2025 Chase the Chill Initiative to Help Residents Stay Warm
October 24, 2025
The Enid Public Library is once again launching its annual Chase the Chill initiative to help keep residents warm throughout the fall and winter seasons. This community-driven program provides free cold-weather clothing to anyone in need.
Donations are now being accepted for this year’s program and will be hung on a clothesline on the west side of the library beginning Nov. 1. Anyone may take what they need.
The library is accepting new or handmade fall and winter items, including hats, scarves, gloves, mittens, and socks. Those interested in donating may bring contributions to the first-floor donation bin during regular library hours.
Chase the Chill has become a successful tradition and offers a simple way for community members to support their neighbors during the colder months.
